so... on 26.10.2003 i have buy in Latvia Trabant P601... without working engine.. without normal brake, suspension and other... :)

now I have fully renewed engine! (thanks for some people from Polland & Chech :) )
Engine with new wal karbowy, pistons, piston rings, new gazhnik (gashnik?) ... renewed cilinders... with renewed and handmaded elektronic ignition :)

but now I looking for all other part:
ALL!!!!
amortisator
brakes ciliners, and other brakes parts...
(all part from bottom of trabi :) )

May bee you have any parts (I will buy it), or may bee know, where I can buy all parts on one weekend?

There is ,,tłumik przedni'' (front mufler) and ,,tłumik tylny'' (rear mufler). Second one comes usually with exhaust pipe which have to be welded to front one. The ity is, that I cant see any of these on www.motirex.pl page.

If you want to came to Poland to buy the parts, you have regular (non-internet) shops here.

Howewer by the way - you can buy a Trabant here in workong condition for less than 1000 zloty (that is 230 Euro). Not in perfect condition, but complete...

About New trabi... :) good idea, but I have one trabi, and I will make full repare :)
but perhaps next year I will buy second trabi - 601 DeLuxe...

and what is price for Trabant 600?

600 is quite rare and hard to find. Price can be similar like for 601 - if you find one - but condition will be probably much worse. And parts much harder to find Note taht 600 was quite short in production between 500 and 601. In fact it was 500 with 601's engine. And there was much more 500's produced - howewer it's still hard to find one.

Hycomat is automatich hydraulic clutch. It operates automaticaly as engine rpm changes and while shifting gears. So you have to shift manualy, but don't use clutch at all. It was mainly intended for people with disabilities. But anyway it's funny to drive
